Muscle/Tissue Relaxing

Treatments to relax, smooth and soften
muscle or tissue.

About muscle/tissue
relaxing treatments

Are you suffering from excessive underarm sweating, or waking up sore from grinding and clenching your teeth in your sleep? At Lane Cove Aesthetics muscle and tissue softening treatments are designed to address and treat these concerns so you can live in less discomfort day-to-day.

Performed by Registered Nurse Sandika, these treatments can help reduce and prevent expression lines on the face. Continuous muscle contraction can contribute to these lines forming. Over time if these muscles are left untreated, they can form into static lines. With cosmetic aesthetics there are treatments available to soften, smooth and relax these muscles.

Recognising that all cases are unique, I take a consultation-first approach to match your muscle, nerve or tissue concerns with the right treatment. As a registered cosmetic nurse, I take the time to ask questions and run through your health history to ensure you are medically eligible for treatment. It’s also a space where we discuss your goals, and from here

How it works:

Consultation

This is a comprehensive skin consultation with me – your registered cosmetic nurse. Inside this consultation, I’ll do an in-depth analysis of your skin as well as give you personalised recommendations for a treatment plan.

Talking you through the treatment process step by step, together we’ll discuss any questions or concerns that you may have. Consent must be gained with you prior to treatment, this includes making sure you are aware of the procedure type, possible side effects and risks, and understanding of the pre/post care guidelines.

Pre-treatment

It is important you are prepared for treatment and that you follow any instructions given in your consultation to reduce any potential possible side effects.

Treatment

Turn up to the clinic having followed any pre-care instructions.

Before we begin, it is a requirement for pre/post photos to be taken. These clinical photos are stored confidentially on your client treatment record and are a record of your prior skin condition and tone. These are great to have for the 2-week review and for a comparison to measure the effectiveness of treatment.

Once these are taken, have me begin your tailored treatment plan using advanced techniques and medically approved products.

Aftercare

Follow any aftercare instructions and receive ongoing support and a 1-1, in-person follow-up with me to ensure lasting results.

This follow-up review is usually booked two weeks post-treatment. Inside this review, we will compare photos and review your healing progress to measure the effectiveness of treatment.
